I sketch primarily with Blackwing pencils, specifically soft graphite. I find Blackwing pencils to be reliable and high quality, especially for loose sketching and construction (#2 pencils also work in a pinch; “if it ain‘t broke…”)

I ink with Micron pens, which come in various thicknesses. My personal favorite is 0.5mm. These micro pigment inks are perfect for chunky, fast-drying lines.

My comics are mainly black and white, but I use basic watercolor sets for many of my paintings. I use acrylic for my larger works, and I am currently attempting to take up oils. It's not going well.
